The Story of Two Brothers

Throughout a wedding day, I’m always noticing the smaller threads running through the larger day. It’s more than just about the couple getting married. It’s the people, the place, and the emotional weight of watching your child, sister, best friend, or brother get married.

I look for these dynamics all day long while I photograph the wedding day.

Here is a small narrative about two brothers, one of whom is getting married.

They shared a lot of laughs throughout the day. There was also an unspoken way of communicating between them. They seemed to know what the other was thinking without having to say much.

These are the kinds of observations I’m looking for while I photograph a wedding.
