For the last 20 years, I’ve been a self-portrait artist and photo diarist, turning the camera on my interpersonal relationships. I’m a middle-aged stay-at-home mom without a degree—just an internal drive that keeps me asking deeper questions, like: What’s beyond surface-level beauty?
I’ve been divorced and recently remarried. I created a series about my recent nuptials called Middle-Age Marriage.
That same perspective shapes how I approach weddings. I believe wedding work is personal. Doing personal projects keeps my passion alive and my eyes fresh for wedding photography. Weddings are deeply personal, and I want to handle them with the same care and curiosity that I bring to my own creative vision.
