I work the same way at every wedding: quietly, without direction, photographing what's in front of me.

No, I do not.
All images are touched and carefully curated by me. I process my film and scan it at home. I make all edits and design the zines myself.
I take my time with each event to ensure I deliver high-quality work.
Yes — and also a film and documentary photographer who shoots families and personal work. Weddings are about a third of what I do in a year.
No. The photographs belong to you. If you don't want them on my Instagram or website, that's the default, and I'll sign an NDA without hesitation.
Absolutely, I prefer to meet in person, if possible, or facetime. It’s crucial for us to understand each other before diving into wedding coverage. Every couple is unique, and it's important to ensure we're a good fit. I thrive in environments where I can capture moments spontaneously and creatively.
If your wedding has a lot of specific requirements or a detailed shot list, we might need to see if our styles align. My approach is laid-back and adaptive, which works best with couples who are looking for a more relaxed photography style.
I don't charge any travel fees within Charlotte County, Sarasota County, Collier County, or Lee County, nor for any location between Sarasota and Fort Myers. Additionally, my "Weekend Whimsy" package includes travel to several cities in Florida—such as Tampa, St. Petersburg, Miami, and Orlando—so if you're planning your wedding in any of these areas, travel is already covered!
I don't offer previews. I believe in the power of printed material and in letting your own memories from your wedding linger for a while. The anticipation makes an impact. Everything is shot on film, which I develop and scan in-house — so the process takes time and care. You'll receive your printed zine first — usually two to three months after the wedding, because it's printed in Glasgow and sequenced by hand. The digital gallery follows after. Exceptions can always be discussed directly with me.
I photograph all kinds of life events—from weddings to funerals and everything in between. Essentially, if it's a part of life, I'm there to photograph it. I've also added year-long family milestone sessions and vow renewals to my offerings.
35mm and medium format film cameras, toy cameras, and digital alongside. I bring two full sets of everything.
Your wedding day is a significant day about marrying the love of your life and being surrounded by those who support you most. The day moves quickly. Try to embrace the unexpected, embrace all feelings, and let go of perfection. Find moments to step away with your love and enjoy your cocktail hour, where you can mingle with guests.
Yes. I'm based in Englewood and shoot up and down the Gulf Coast — Sarasota, Anna Maria, Siesta Key, Venice, Boca Grande, Naples — and travel beyond Florida for the right project.
Yes, you absolutely can extend the session on the day of. If you find that you need more time for photography during your event, just let me know, and we'll make it happen.
No, not by default. I work alone. If you want a second shooter, I can recommend someone I trust.
No, you're not required to order prints from me. Your package comes with reprinting rights, so you're free to get your photos printed wherever you like.
Absolutely, I work seamlessly with other vendors, whether it's a wedding content creator or a videographer. I easily blend into the background to do my thing.
If you want couples portraits, all we need is about 5-10 minutes of good light.
I don't plan the timeline — that's up to you or your planner. Just tell me when and where to show up. I'll share what I need from a photography standpoint and otherwise follow your lead. I shoot documentary style — more a quiet observer than a director, there to record events as they unfold. I'm with you the whole day.
