You Eclipse Them All- A Solar Eclipse Wedding in Cleveland, OH
I had just gotten off the phone with my sister, telling her how I just wanted to get to a place with my wedding work that felt true to me—rejecting everything about the wedding industry. I wanted to make photos for couples that felt real, raw, and honest while also creating art that fueled my soul.
And then, right at that moment, an inquiry came in from The Knot for a Solar eclipse wedding at Poppy, a restaurant in Cleveland, OH. The couple was looking for exactly what I had just told my sister I wanted to create, and it felt completely serendipitous.
We met in person, and I shared my personal work and the lumen prints I had been experimenting with. I told them outright that I was rejecting everything about the wedding industry. It turned out we were a perfect fit for each other. We met a few times before they officially booked me, building a real relationship of trust along the way.
